New year, new home look!

For 36 years, the team at Zander's Interiors has been creating timeless spaces by focusing on eye-catching and sophisticated interior design. A permanent fixture on Monroe Street since its opening, Zander's Interiors is a full-service design firm that supplies services and products in a variety of styles and price ranges. Over the years Zander's Interiors has established and maintained an extremely well-curated list of hundreds of high-quality vendors, giving clients peace of mind and the opportunity to make their project truly unique and personal.

Zander's Interiors has stayed within the family and continues to evolve, Doug Zander opened the company in 1987, and in January 2020 his daughter Erica Meier took over as owner and Senior Designer. Erica says the key to creating a personal, one-of-a-kind design is spending time asking the right questions and getting to know what her clients like and don’t like.

“I love to find treasures that the client has a strong connection to and use things like this as a springboard to create a personal and one-of-a-kind design for them,” she says.

At Zander's they take the time to understand how families live within their space and what items it needs to be functional. Their team of designers has evolved with current trends and the changes in how families live. With this knowledge they can stay consistent and true to the high-end service and quality of the products they offer and help guide clients through the process of creating livable and beautiful environments.

The COVID pandemic brought unexpected circumstances, and it being Erica’s first year as owner of Zander's Interiors she really looked to the team to step up. “As a team we came out on the other side stronger and more confident,” she says.

To help foster a lasting connection to the business community on Monroe Street, Zander’s Interiors sponsors several events in the neighborhood. Erica is also on the Monroe Street Board of Merchants, helping support other area business owners through event planning and marketing ideas.

Being a second-generation family-owned business, Zander’s Interiors also keeps that connection strong with their clients, past and present. “I am now working with clients’ children whose parents worked with my dad for many years,” she says.

Erica and the team at Zander’s Interiors are poised to enhance the homes and lives of their clients for generations to come with their unique eye for design.
